What Happens in the Event of a Peer-to-Peer Lending Platform Failure?

It is part of the FCA regulations that peer-to-peer lending platforms have a plan in place, which facilitates the wind down of the company, should it come to a platform failure. This may include the introduction of a third-party to manage the repayment or recovery process of the loan book. 

As a lender, the loan agreements are between you and the borrower. This is in place, so that lenders should continue to receive repayments on their loan during a wind down process.

Any monies that Sourced Capital hold on behalf of lenders would be held in a client account in accordance with FCA rules and would therefore be returned to them.
